Hi, I'm Lars Daniel.
I am on a mission to make digital evidence understandable for all of us.
I have taught more than four hundred Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes and present at dozens of conferences every year.
Despite my best efforts, I cannot be everywhere.
I co-wrote the book Digital Forensics for Legal Professionals over a decade ago, but our digital world keeps spinning faster. That is why this site exists.
I simplify complex technical concepts into plain language for our clients, clearing the "fog of data" so they can make competent and informed decisions to bridge the gap between the rapidly evolving technology landscape and the practical needs of professionals confronted with digital evidence.
If you need to navigate the complexities of digital evidence with clarity and confidence, you have found the right place. Your career is challenging enough. Digital evidence doesn't need to be.
My two professional passions are digital forensics and education.
That is why this website exists. My mission is to bridge the gap between the rapidly evolving technology landscape and the practical needs of legal professionals seeking to utilize digital evidence effectively.
